The first of the Arena Games Triathlon event of the year is set to take place in Munich, Germany, on Saturday 9 April, with a host of big names lining up to race.

It’ll be the first Super League Triathlon (SLT) event of the season, and the first of the new esports series where SLT has partnered with World Triathlon to bring esports triathlon racing into the mainstream.

The event in Munich is the first of three races over the course of a month that’ll cumulate with the first ever esport triathlon world champions being crowned.

Among those toeing the start line over the weekend will be double Olympic medallist Alex Yee (GBR), previous Super League Triathlon winner Beth Potter (GBR), and pro Marten Van Riel (BEL).

What time is the race happening?

Coverage of the event will commence at 4pm local time (CEST), with the women’s race due to kick off at 4:15pm and the men’s race at 5:30pm.

How can I watch the Arena Games?

If you’re not able to jet off to Munich and watch the intense racing in action, don’t fear as the games will be broadcast globally over various platforms.

Main platforms include Discovery+, TriathlonLive and SLT TV. Here’s a list of broadcast platforms available per country.

Alternatively, to watch online simply check out the live stream of the event on Super League’s YouTube channel or via their website.

The only exceptions being the USA and Australia, where coverage’s available via Outside TV and Fox Sports respectively.
