This is going to be one hell of a year for pro triathlon. Not only is there the small matter of an Olympic and Paralympic Games taking place over summer, but we will also be treated to the launch of the T100 Triathlon World Tour.
Here’s everything you need to know about the brand new series and how to watch the second race in Singapore on 13-14 April…
As a reminder, Kristian Blummenfelt won the men’s race there in 2023 (but isn’t competing there in 2024), while Ashleigh Gentle won the women’s race.
What is the T100 Triathlon World Tour?
The T100 Triathlon World Tour is a new race series which replaces the PTO Tour and is recognised by World Triathlon as the official world championship tour of long-distance triathlon.
Forty of the world’s best female and male pros (20 each gender) will compete over eight races culminating in the inaugural T100 Grand Final at the end of November.
Athletes will be competing for a hefty prize fund of $250,000 per race, with $25,000 awarded to first place, $16,000 to second place and $12,000 to third. Across the eight races that totals $2million of prize money.
There’ll also be a $210,000 prize for the series winners after the Grand Final, with other athletes also awarded money based on their ranking at the end of the series. This comes from an additional prize pool of $2million.
When and where is Singapore T100 taking place?
The second T100 takes place in in downtown Singapore, with the start and finish near the Marina Bay Sands resort.
The women’s event takes place on Saturday 13 April and the men’s event is on Sunday 14 April.
What distances will athletes race in the Singapore T100?
All T100 races will feature a 2km swim, 80km bike and 18km run, which equals 100km, hence the name of the series.

The times quoted below are local, which is 7hrs ahead of the UK.
Women’s race start: 2:15pm (7.15am UK time), Saturday 13 April
Men’s race start: 3:15pm (8.15am UK time), Sunday 14 April
