For the first time in two years, Canyon has updated its Speedmax range of triathlon bikes, with nine new versions set to go on sale.<\/strong><\/p>\n
The brand\u2019s CFR, CF SLX and CF models are all seeing updates, including the addition of a power meter and disc brakes. You can see the full details outlined below.<\/p>\n
What\u2019s new?<\/strong><\/h2>\n
The range-topping Speedmax CFR will now be available with SRAM\u2019s Red Tap AXS 1\u00d712 groupset, complete with a Quarq power meter and Zipp 858 NSW disc brake hookless wheels.<\/p>\n
Alternatively, the lightest Speedmax CFR you can get your hands on is be the option that comes equipped with Shimano\u2019s Dura-Ace 2\u00d712-speed Di2 and a Rotor Aldhu 24 crankset with an in-spider power meter. It\u2019ll also come with DT Swiss ARC 1100 Dicut disc brake wheels.<\/p>\n
One level down from the best-of-the-best will see you sacrifice approximately 300g in weight for more affordability. The Speedmax CF SLX 8 frameset uses a different carbon frame layup and is available with two different groupsets.<\/p>\n
The first is SRAM\u2019s Force Tap AXS, complete with a Quarq power meter and Zipp 404 \/808 Firecrest wheels. The second option is Shimano\u2019s Ultegra Di2 with a 4iii power meter and DT Swiss ARC 1400 Dicut wheels.<\/p>\n

Still using the same frameset, the more wallet-friendly Speedmax CF SLX 7 ships with SRAM\u2019s Rival Tap AXS and a Quarq power meter. The package is completed with DT Swiss ARC 1600 Spline disc brake wheels.<\/p>\n
There are three options at CF level: the Speedmax CF 8 Di2 (2\u00d712) with a 4iii power meter and DT Swiss ARC 1400 Dicut wheels; the Speedmax CF 7 eTap (2\u00d712) with a Quarq spider power meter and Reynolds AR wheels; and the Speedmax CF 7, which comes with Shimano 105 2\u00d711 mechanical shifters and derailleurs, a 4iii power meter and DT Swiss P1800 wheels.<\/p>\n
Selected models throughout the range also include 650b wheels, which are better suited to smaller frame sizes.<\/p>\n
