This is going to be one hell of a year for pro triathlon. Not only is there the small matter of an Olympic and Paralympic Games taking place over summer, but we will also be treated to the launch of the T100 Triathlon World Tour<\/a>. <\/strong><\/p>

Here’s everything you need to know about the brand new series and how to watch the second race in Singapore on 13-14 April\u2026<\/p>

As a reminder, Kristian Blummenfelt won the men’s race<\/strong><\/a> there in 2023 (but isn’t competing there in 2024), while Ashleigh Gentle won the women’s race<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>

What is the T100 Triathlon World Tour?<\/h2>
<\/div><\/figure><p>The T100 Triathlon World Tour is a new race series which replaces the PTO Tour and is recognised by World Triathlon as the official world championship tour of long-distance triathlon.<\/p><p>Forty of the world\u2019s best female and male pros (20 each gender) will compete over eight races culminating in the inaugural T100 Grand Final at the end of November. <\/p><p>Athletes will be competing for a hefty prize fund of $250,000 per race, with $25,000 awarded to first place, $16,000 to second place and $12,000 to third. Across the eight races that totals $2million of prize money.<\/p><p>There’ll also be a $210,000 prize for the series winners after the Grand Final, with other athletes also awarded money based on their ranking at the end of the series.
