Avebury is a mysterious place. Huge stones, dug deep into the ground, create circles and pathways.
Wander among them and climb the surrounding Neolithic mound, where small burrows are safe havens for furry creatures. The nearby Wishing Trees, with their long roots and ribbon-decorated canopies, offer a place to remember loved ones. End the day at the Red Lion pub, listening to tales of ghosts and strange sightings.
