Love walking but worried about getting lost? Stamp out the fear of losing your way with this two-minute video by the Ramblers.
Navigating can seem very complicated – but with these five easy tricks, you’ll be well on your way in no time.
The Ramblers recommend you use the five Ds:
- Distance – how far is this leg of the walk?
- Duration – how long will it take me?
- Direction – what direction should I head off in?
- Description – what will I see along the way?
- Destination – what will I see when I get to the end of this leg of the walk?
You won’t necessarily need all five Ds on every part of your walk, simply choose the ones that will help you on your way.
