When is Black Friday 2023?

This year, Black Friday lands on the 24 November. This is the official start date, but the sales and promotions are released earlier and earlier each year, with some retailers releasing weeks, or even months, of bargains.

How to get a good deal on Black Friday 2023

It’s not always easy knowing where, and how, to begin with finding the best Black Friday deals, and a little research beforehand can go a long way. Do you have a specific location, or train route in mind? With travel in particular, it’s worth thinking ahead to the following year. Book early, and make a Black Friday saving, or you may even find some inspiration for your next getaway!

Signing up to retailer newsletters, and extension tools such as CamelCamelCamel or Keepa can also help during Black Friday, especially for Amazon-related retail. These tools help monitor the prices of products on Amazon to help you ensure you’re bagging an actual deal.

Why Black Friday?

Travel can really add up, with transport, accommodation and even suitable holiday attire, to consider, so it makes sense to hold out for a big sales event before investing.

Black Friday is also a chance to get ahead with the following year’s travel, or you could even find a last-minute Christmas deal if you fancy getting away over the festivities.
