As trees around the UK burst into flower, the National Trust\u2019s #BlossomWatch campaign is about to begin again.<\/p>\n<h2>What is #BlossomWatch?<\/h2>\n<p class=\"&quot;p1&quot;\"><span class=\"&quot;s1&quot;\">The <a href=\"\/\/www.nationaltrust.org.uk\/&quot;\" target=\"&quot;_blank&quot;\" rel=\"&quot;noopener noopener noreferrer\" noreferrer=\"\">National Trust<\/a> launched #BlossomWatch in 2020 during the pandemic in a bid to recreate Japan\u2019s <i>Hanami <\/i>tradition, where thousands flock to see its cherry trees (<em>Sakura<\/em>) bloom and welcome in the spring.\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"&quot;s1&quot;\">The conservation charity is aiming to build #BlossomWatch each year for it to become a new British tradition. Three years later, it looks as though it was successful.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"&quot;font-weight:\"><a href=\"&quot;https:\/\/www.countryfile.com\/wildlife\/trees-plants\/how-to-identify-spring-blossom\/&quot;\">Spring blossom<\/a> can be found in hedgerows, orchards, parks and fields across the UK during March and April. Fruit trees such as apples, plums, pears, sloes and damsons will bear dainty white flowers tinged with pink, followed by the famous ros\u00e9 pink petals of the cherry tree.
