This gorgeous nine-mile circular walk around Derwent Water starts and ends in Keswick, passing impressive waterfalls, peaceful woodlands and dreamy marinas along the way <\/p>

Flanked by characterful mountains and strewn with wooded islands, Derwent Water (or Derwentwater) is one of the Lake District\u2019s most beautiful waters. There is no better way to experience the joys of this lake than with a circular walk around its shores.<\/p>\n

There are waymarkers throughout the walk, so you should have no problems with navigation.<\/p>\n

There are places to get refreshments, as well as ferry pick-up points and bus stops, so you can get back to Keswick if you\u2019ve done enough walking. The views are wonderful, and there are plenty of things to keep you entertained along the way, including sculptures, a Chinese Bridge, waterfalls and red squirrels<\/a>.<\/p>\n
