This site is well sheltered from the general swell, allowing for calmer waters for an easy shore or boat diving experience. <\/p><p>When scuba diving here you can expect to see velvet crabs, corkwing wrasse, small spotted catsharks, lobsters and spider crabs. Divers have also seen the occasional <a href=\"https:\/\/www.countryfile.com\/wildlife\/marine-life\/guide-to-britains-dolphins-porpoise-and-whales-how-to-identify-and-where-to-see-them\">dolphins<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.countryfile.com\/wildlife\/swimming-with-basking-sharks-in-cornwall\">basking sharks <\/a>and seals.\u00a0<\/p><p>Reasons to Visit: Harlyn Bay is considered one of the best family beaches in Cornwall. There\u2019s estimated to be thousands of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.countryfile.com\/wildlife\/the-hidden-world-of-grey-seals\">grey seals<\/a> in the area, and they\u2019re very accustomed to visits by divers.
