The school group was returning from a trip to Sark in the English Channel when they saw the humpback breach. <\/p>

A group of schoolchildren from\u00a0St Lawrence Primary School<\/a>\u00a0in Jersey were treated to a fin-tastic display when they saw a young humpback whale from the boat as they returned from a school trip to Sark<\/a>. <\/strong><\/p>

The whale<\/a> can be seen slapping the water with its tail fluke and fins and even breaching. \u201cIt\u2019s doing a performance,\u201d shouts one of the kids in the video.<\/p>

\u201cIt was such an incredible experience,\u201d says teacher Chris Fancourt who captured the display on video. \u201cThe fact it also breached the water a few times was amazing!\u201d\u00a0<\/p>
