Who is Charlie Cooper?<\/h2>
Charlie Cooper is an actor and writer most famous for appearing in the Gloucestershire-set mockumentary This Country<\/em>, which he co-wrote with his co-star, his sister Daisy May Cooper. He is also the presenter of the documentary series Charlie Cooper\u2019s Myth Country<\/em>, in which he explores and investigates some of Britain\u2019s most mysterious folk tales.<\/p>

<\/div> <\/figure> <h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How old is Charlie Cooper?<\/h2> <p>Charlie Cooper was born on 16 June 1989.<\/p> <h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Where is Charlie Cooper from?<\/h2> <p>Charlie grew up in the town of Cirencester in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.countryfile.com\/go-outdoors\/walks\/best-walks-in-gloucestershire\">Gloucestershire<\/a>. Born in Cirencester, Charlie lived in the town until he was 18, at which time he began a degree in sports science at Exeter University. After two years of study, he joined his sister in London, sleeping on her floor for some time. Moving back to the parental home in Cirencester, the pair undertook a number of low-paid jobs, including cleaning offices and working in Argos, while they wrote <em>This Country<\/em>.<\/p> <h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Where does Charlie Cooper live now?<\/h2> <p>He is still a Gloucestershire resident and currently lives in a small village near Stroud with his partner and their two young sons. \u201cI wouldn\u2019t want to be anywhere else,\u201d he told <em>BBC<\/em> <em>Countryfile magazine<\/em>.<\/p> <h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How are the cast of <em>This Country<\/em> related?<\/h2> <p>He and his sister aren\u2019t the only actors in the family. Their father Paul plays Martin Mucklowe in <em>This Country<\/em>, respectively the father of Kerry Mucklowe (Daisy\u2019s character) and uncle of Charlie\u2019s character Kurtan Mucklowe. The siblings\u2019 uncle, Trevor Cooper, also appears in the show, playing the part of local village grump Len. Charlie is a huge fan of Mackenzie\u2019s work though, especially his sitcom <em>Detectorists<\/em>.
