The medieval Welsh Marches are often seen as a hotly contested border territory between Wales and England that frequently boiled over into violence. But, as Helen Fulton \u2013 who is leading a new research project on this topic \u2013 explains in today\u2019s episode, by examining Welsh literature and praise poetry we can explore an often overlooked side to frontier life.
