Sneferu\u2019s son, Khufu (2589\u20132566 BC), builds the Great Pyramid of Giza, and the Great Sphinx follows, probably during the reign of Khafre (Khufu\u2019s son and successor, 2558\u20132532 BC), together with a second pyramid.
