The two-birthday tradition began with George II in 1748 \u2013 his November birthday was deemed to be too cold for <em>al fresco <\/em>celebrations, so he decided to attach his birthday celebrations to the Trooping the Colour ceremonial parade held in the summer.<\/p>\n\n<hr class=\"no-tts wp-block-separator is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n<h4><span class=\"has-inline-color has-ccp-accent-color\">C<\/span> is <strong>for&#8230; <em>CORONATION <em><strong>CHICKEN<\/strong><\/em><\/em><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n<p class=\"article-full-body sans-serif\">\u2018Poulet Reine Elizabeth\u2019 \u2013 better known as coronation chicken \u2013 was dreamt up in 1953 by florist Constance Spry and cordon bleu chef Rosemary Hume. Distributed using ARPANET \u2013 a forerunner of the internet \u2013 from the Royal Signals and Radar Establishment in Malvern, Worcestershire, the message announced the development of a new programming language.
