Some of those families are going to be famous dynasties that rewrote the narratives of whole regions \u2013 from the Caesars and the Ottomans to the Habsburgs and the House of Saud \u2013 yet others will not be as well-known, or had an influence that was felt in less direct and dramatic ways.
