What’s on at the Proms today?
Today is definitely a family-friendly day at the Royal Albert Hall. At 11am, you’ve got the CBeebies Prom: Wildlife Jamboree, featuring Andy Day (from ‘Andy’s Adventures’), Dodge T. Dog (from ‘CBeebies House’), Ashley Joseph (from ‘Jojo & Gran Gran’), Maddie Moate (from ‘Do You Know?’), Puja Panchkoty (from ‘Andy’s Adventures’), Rhys Stephenson (from ‘CBeebies House’).
The BBC Proms have always done children’s and family entertainment well, taking in everything fro Doctor Who to Horrible Histories, as our article about the best children’s Proms reveals.
Here’s some action from the 2015 CBeebies Prom to give you a flavour!
The show takes place again at 3pm (Prom 12). And if you can’t make either, don’t worry, Prom 11 is being recorded for broadcast on CBeebies.
Who is performing?
Aside from the CBeebies stars mentioned above, you mean? Well, music comes courtesy of the BBC Singers, the CBeebies East London Schools’ Choir, and the Southbank Sinfonia conducted by Kwamé Ryan.
How much are tickets?
Tickets to both Prom 11 (11am) and Prom 12 (3pm) are priced on a scale from £10 to £27.
