A new short film inspired by classical music features performances from, among others, actor Paul McGann and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Swallow Your Dreams<\/em>, by filmmaker Dan Sloan<\/strong><\/a>, centres around a man attempting \u2013 much to the concern of his wife \u2013 to extract a piano concerto that he has composed in his dreams. As well as Paul McGann\u00a0(Withnail & I<\/em>, Alien 3<\/em>), the cast also features Amy Bailey (Vikings<\/em>).<\/p>\n

The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic also have a starring role: they perform an original score by composer\/arranger Benjamin Woodgates. The latter\u2019s previous composing credits include the film score to Dream Horse<\/em> (starring Toni Collette and Damian Lewis): he also directed and arranged the music for Terence Davies\u2019 Benediction.<\/em><\/p>\n

The piano concerto in the film is performed by Tom Poster, the 2018 BBC Young Musician of the Year<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n
