The Goodmesh Concours<\/strong><\/a>, a Netherlands-based multidisciplinary arts competition, has wrapped up for another year. The theme for this year\u2019s competition was \u2018fish\u2019, and Hungary\u2019s Trio Silhouette took top prize for a bold performance that mixed classical music, live dancing, lighting and visual art.<\/p>\n Five finalists performed in front of the Goodmesh Concours jury and a live audience at The Hague\u2019s Theater De Regentes on 1 December. The judges commended\u00a0Trio Silhouette\u2019s bold mixture of media and the powerful and poetic performance that resulted.<\/p>\n Cellist Ma\u0301tya\u0301s Vira\u0301g and pianist Ro\u0301za Radno\u0301ti performed works by Gy\u00f6rgy Kurta\u0301g and Leo\u0161 Jana\u0301c\u030cek<\/strong><\/a>, accompanied by lighting, visuals and dance. \u2018The tension during the performance was equal to that of literally catching a fish,\u2019 the jury noted. \u2018When you get a bite you get goosebumps and you want to keep the catch with you.\u2019<\/p>\n
