The London Philharmonic Orchestra<\/strong><\/a> will be broadcasting its \u2018Christmas at Claridge\u2019s\u2019 concert for free into care homes, hospitals and hospices on Friday 23 December at 3pm, in partnership with the charity Care England and the classical music streaming service Vialma.<\/p>\n Members of the orchestra and the London Philharmonic Choir, conducted by Neville Creed, will perform a variety of festive favourites next to the Christmas tree at Claridge\u2019s hotel in Mayfair. Ranging from Baroque music to 20th-century standards and favourite carols, the programme includes \u2018O Come all ye Faithful\u2019<\/strong><\/a>, <\/i>\u2018It Came Upon the Midnight Clear\u2019<\/strong><\/a>, <\/i>excerpts from Bach\u2019s Christmas Oratorio<\/strong><\/em><\/a>, \u2018Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas\u2019 and many more.<\/p>\n <\/p><\/div> <\/section> An activity pack, complete with playlists and games, is also available for residents, patients and their families to accompany the concert.<\/p>\n David Burke, the LPO\u2019s chief executive, says: \u2018Whether you are watching us from a care home, a hospital, a hospice or from your living room, we are thrilled that you are joining us!
