Our fairytales have not only inspired great ballets, but also operas and grand pieces of orchestral music.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The stories of Hans Christian Anderson <\/a><\/strong>\u00a0alone have inspired at least 80 composers, while the tales of the Grimm brothers have given birth to at least six operas.<\/p>\n

Although some pieces have a dark and sinister side and are clearly for adults, some adaptations of fairytales make a great way of introducing children to classical music.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n
