Was the nursery rhyme \u2018Ring around the rosie\u2019 inspired by the Plague? It is generally thought so, with the rings referring to the red rings that formed on the skin of victims, while the posies reference could refer to the thought the disease was spread by bad smells<\/p>\n

And the \u2018We all fall down\u2019 line?\u00a0 Well it doesn\u2019t take a genius to guess that it might refer to the Plague\u2019s high mortality rate\u2026<\/p>\n
