American hymn writer extraordinaire Fanny Crosby wrote the hymn \u2018Safe in the arms of Jesus\u2019 in 1868 when she was around 48 years old. It is published in \u00a0418 hymnals.<\/p>\n

Fanny Crosby also wrote the hymns \u2018He Hideth My Soul\u2019,<\/a>\u00a0\u2018 Praise him praise him<\/a>\u2018\u00a0 \u2018Blessed Assurance\u2019\u00a0<\/a>and \u2018 Tell Me the Story of Jesus<\/a>\u2018 and is one of the most prolific hymn writers ever, writing over 8000 during her lifetime.<\/p>\n
