\u2018Rescue the perishing\u2019 was written by prolific American hymn writer Fanny Crosby in 1869 when she was about 49 years old.<\/strong><\/p>\n

During her lifetime Crosby wrote over 8000 hymns including Blessed Assurance<\/a><\/strong>, \u2018Softly and Tenderly<\/a><\/strong>\u2018, \u2018Tell Me the Story of Jesus\u2019, <\/a><\/strong>and \u2018Safe in the Arms of Jesus\u2019\u00a0<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n
