On May 6 soprano Pretty Yende will be performing in front of an estimated television audience of billions in perhaps the biggest gig of her life, King Charles III\u2019s Coronation<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Who is Pretty Yende?<\/h2>\n

One of the world\u2019s leading sopranos, South African Pretty Yende has performed many of opera\u2019s leading roles all over the world, from Ad\u00e8le in Rossini\u2019s Le comte Ory <\/i>at the Metropolitan Opera to Rosina in\u00a0The Barber of Seville<\/i> at the Paris Opera. Along the way, she has graced many of the world\u2019s greatest stages including Carnegie Hall, La Scala<\/a>, Royal Opera House<\/a><\/strong> in London\u2026 the list goes on.<\/p>\n
