The Complete University Guide has published its annual findings on Britain\u2019s best universities for studying a wide range of subjects \u2013 including music.<\/strong><\/p>\n The survey arrives at its findings via a variety of metrics including entry standards, student satisfaction, research quality, and graduate prospects.<\/p>\n According to the Guide\u2019s findings, the 20 best UK universities for studying music are:<\/p>\n 1 University of Cambridge<\/p>\n 2 University of Oxford<\/p>\n 3 University of Southampton<\/p>\n 4 University of Manchester<\/p>\n 5 University of Sheffield<\/p>\n 6 Durham University<\/p>\n 7 University of Leeds<\/p>\n 8 Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London<\/p>\n 9 Royal Holloway, University of London<\/p>\n 10 Kings College, London<\/p>\n 11 University of Birmingham<\/p>\n 12 University of Surrey, Guildford<\/p>\n 13 University of Bristol<\/p>\n 14 Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester<\/p>\n 15 University of York<\/p>\n 16 University of Edinburgh<\/p>\n 17 Royal Academy of Music, London<\/p>\n 18 Bangor University<\/p>\n 19 Queen\u2019s University, Belfast<\/p>\n 20 University of Glasgow<\/p>\n Among other specialist music colleges, Trinity Laban came in at 24 in the list of 83 universities and colleges.
