To mark the 60th anniversary of\u00a0Doctor Who<\/em>,\u00a0music royalty organisation PRS for Music\u00a0has revealed a chart of the UK\u2019s top 20\u00a0most played sci-fi TV theme tunes<\/a><\/strong>. With its distinctive electronic composition, exploring sound art, the\u00a0iconic\u00a0Doctor Who<\/em>\u00a0theme tune<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0tops the chart.<\/p>

Based on data provided by\u00a0PRS for Music, the organisation which represents the rights of over 165,000 songwriters, composers and music publishers, the chart showcases the most popular sci-fi theme tunes that have been streamed, broadcast and publicly performed.<\/p>
