Building on his lifelong love of choral music, London-based film and theatre composer\u00a0Ben Morales Frost\u00a0has composed\u00a0three brand new carols\u00a0for release\u00a0this Christmas. In performances featuring the\u00a0City of London Choir<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and conductor\u00a0Hilary Davan Wetton<\/a><\/strong>, the three carols have been recorded and will receive their world-premiere performance at London\u2019s Cadogan Hall\u00a0on\u00a021\u00a0December 2023.<\/p> The three carols\u00a0What Will This New Day Bring<\/em>,\u00a0The Stable<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Carol of the Manger<\/em>\u00a0are released on\u00a030\u00a0November,\u00a07\u00a0December\u00a0and\u00a014\u00a0December\u00a02023\u00a0respectively. Each track will be accompanied by a\u00a0YouTube performance video\u00a0and publication of the\u00a0sheet music. <\/p> The three new pieces draw on the traditional yet modern sound-world of John Rutter and his contemporaries, bringing an uplifting new twist to the Christmas repertoire.\u00a0<\/p> Ben Morales Frost\u00a0has a long-standing relationship with the\u00a0City of London Choir, having sung bass with the group for over a decade.
