The staggeringly popular classical music comedy duo, TwoSet Violin<\/a><\/strong>, yesterday announced the end of their creative partnership. <\/p>

In a shock final social media post, the two shared:<\/p>

\u2018This will be the last piece of content we post as TwoSet Violin. It\u2019s been a wild ride with you all for the last 11 years. We\u2019ve all grown up together and it\u2019s kinda surreal that we\u2019re ending our chapter here.<\/p>

‘Thank you for all the laughs, the genuine encounters in real life and all the special moments we\u2019ve had with you online and offline. Much love, Brett and Eddy.’<\/p>

Who are TwoSet Violin?<\/h2>
Formed by Australian violinists Brett Yang and Eddy Chen, TwoSet Violin are best known for their\u00a0YouTube channel<\/a><\/strong>, which in October 2022 had reached over 4 million subscribers and 1 billion views. The pair gave a celebratory concert<\/a><\/strong> in November 2022 on achieving that milestone, making their debut with the\u00a0 Singapore Symphony Orchestra<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0on two Stradivari<\/a><\/strong> violins loaned to them from the Tarisio Foundation.\u00a0<\/p>
They are also hugely popular on social media, with 1.4 million Facebook followers and 45.5 million likes on TikTok. Since September 2016, they have embarked on a number of live shows and tours.<\/p>

Their humorous videos encompass just about every aspect of being a musician. Recurring topics include the need for musicians to practise (embodied by a character called \u2018Ling Ling\u2019 who practises \u2018for 40 hours per day\u2019), prodigies and how accurately (or otherwise) classical music is portrayed in film and pop videos.<\/p>
One of their most popular videos lambasts a player for claiming to be the \u2018world\u2019s fastest violinist\u2019 in his rendition of\u00a0Flight of the Bumblebee<\/em>.<\/p>

They both went on to study the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.classical-music.com\/features\/articles\/violin-facts-and-invention\/\">violin<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0at the Queensland Conservatorium, where they first started making YouTube videos.
