Since then, he has gone on to release <a href=\"&quot;https:\/\/www.classical-music.com\/tag\/sheku-kanneh-mason-reviews\/&quot;\"><strong>recordings of works by Shostakovich and Elgar<\/strong><\/a>. Together with his <a href=\"&quot;https:\/\/www.classical-music.com\/features\/artists\/who-are-the-members-of-the-kanneh-mason-family\/&quot;\"><strong>six talented siblings<\/strong><\/a>, he has performed across the UK and released a debut <a href=\"&quot;https:\/\/www.classical-music.com\/reviews\/chamber\/carnival-of-the-animals-the-kanneh-masons\/&quot;\"><strong>Kanneh-Mason family album, featuring Saint-Sa\u00ebns\u2019s <\/strong><\/a><em><a href=\"&quot;https:\/\/www.classical-music.com\/reviews\/chamber\/carnival-of-the-animals-the-kanneh-masons\/&quot;\"><strong>The Carnival of the Animals<\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Despite being a long-time admirer of Elgar\u2019s music, it was Kanneh-Mason\u2019s first trip to the Malvern Hills.\u00a0\u2018When you come to places like this, it adds another layer or another dimension \u2013 another connection to the piece of music,\u2019 he says.<\/p>\n<p>Matt Baker also met Dawn Middleton, gardener at Elgar\u2019s birthplace, \u2018The Firs\u2019. We recently named \u2018The Firs\u2019 as one of the <a href=\"&quot;https:\/\/www.classical-music.com\/features\/articles\/best-national-trust-properties-for-classical-music-lovers-to-visit\/&quot;\"><strong>best National Trust properties for classical music lovers to visit in the UK<\/strong><\/a>.
