Or is it those wonderful descants that raise \u2018Sing Choirs of Angels\u2019 to the very rafters? It was first printed in Latin in 1751 as <em>\u2018A<\/em>deste Fideles<em>\u2018<\/em>, and was translated into English nearly a century later by Frederick Oakeley in 1841.
