Rogers worked with Prince for almost five years during his commercial peak in the 80s, including on albums Purple Rain<\/em>, Around the World in a Day<\/em>, Parade<\/em>, and The Black Album. <\/em><\/p>\n

She\u2019s the director of the Berklee Music Perception and Cognition Laboratory, and author of This Is What It Sounds Like: What the Music You Love Says About You<\/em> (\u00a320, W. W. Norton & Company)<\/a>.<\/p>\n
