Green-rumped parrot parents give their chicks a \u2018signature call\u2019 or \u2018name\u2019, which is learned in the nest.<\/p>\n<p>Dolphins learn their own, idiosyncratic \u2018signature whistle\u2019 from their mother, as well as recognising and remembering the \u2018names\u2019 of other dolphins too.
