Let\u2019s take a look at each of the brand new images in turn.<\/p>\n
NGC 346<\/strong><\/h2>\n

It can be found in the Small Magellanic Cloud, which is a satellite galaxy<\/a> of our own Milky Way.<\/p>\n
Webb data shows wisps of cosmic gas and dust: the very ingredients consumed by growing stars and planets during their formation.<\/p>\n
Chandra\u2019s contribution to the image includes the large purple cloud on the left, which is the remnant of the supernova<\/a> explosion of a massive star.<\/p>\n
Chandra data also shows young stars, scorching hot, that are projecting powerful stellar winds outwards into space.<\/p>\n
NGC 1672<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Arcand.<\/span><\/figcaption><\/div>\n Barred spiral galaxy NGC 1672 is categorised as such because it is a distinct spiral shape, but has a band of stars<\/a> stretching across the galactic core.<\/p>\n
Chandra data reveals neutron stars<\/a> and black holes<\/a> dragging material away from companion stars.<\/p>\n
Hubble and Webb data helps fill out the dust and gas that can be seen within the spiral arms.<\/p>\n
The Eagle Nebula<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Arcand.<\/span><\/figcaption><\/div>\n Hubble fans will be well aware of M16, the Eagle Nebula<\/a>, which is also known as the Pillars of Creation<\/a>, one of the Hubble Space Telescope\u2019s most famous images.<\/p>\n
Here, Webb data shows dark columns of dust and gas that are shrouding newborn stars, while the purple and pink dots are Chandra data revealing young stars glowing in X-ray light.<\/p>\n
M74<\/strong><\/h2>\n
