OTTER

I was recently lucky enough to enjoy a few days on the Isle of Mull. I spent most of one morning photographing this individual, watching him hunt in the kelp; he returned to shore only when he’d caught a big prey item such as a lobster or octopus. After a while, he started to groom himself and went to sleep. It was an amazing experience to watch him.
