Featuring some of the most reclusive animals on earth, its filming teams managed to capture never-seen-before animal behaviour. We take a look at just some of the many species that we meet in the show.

Snow leopards

One of the most elusive cats, the snow leopard lives in some of the harshest conditions on Earth. In Asia, they’ve been filmed in one of the highest villages in the world at over 4,000 metres. They usually wander alone – but now, a hopeful male may have found a perfect mate.
