What is Poacher about?
Set in the forests of Kerala and on the streets of Delhi, Poacher recounts the events leading up to the takedown of an extensive ivory-poaching ring – the largest in Indian history – that took place in July 2015.
The series showcases the efforts of those involved, from forest officials to the police, many of whom risked their lives to defeat the criminals and protect this charismatic and keystone forest species.
