Harvest-time hare <\/strong><\/h4>\n\n

I was seeking sunset images of hares when I encountered this stunning hare in a local field of barley stubble. The sun had set behind me and the field was bathed in soft muted light, which allowed the details of the beautiful fur to come out and work in harmony with the colours of the stubble. When it heard the shutter, it fixed me with this intense stare. <\/p>\n\n

I took this photo while I was visiting Bristol Zoo. It was a nice surprise because I don\u2019t come across goldcrests very often.
