While we often associate wildlife with the countryside, a surprising number of species can be found in cities and towns. Whilst you may be familiar with your local urban foxes, pigeons and grey squirrels, if you know where to look, you\u2019ll be able to see rarer species and impressive wildlife spectacles too.<\/p>\n

On winter evenings thousands of starlings<\/a> perform photogenic aerobatics above the piers in these coastal cities, before they land on the ironwork to roost. Unlike most starling roosts, viewers on the piers can look down on the birds jostling for position on the girders below.<\/p>\n
