Planet Earth III <\/em>is coming to our television screens soon and judging by the trailer below it looks like it’s going to be a fabulous series. The trailer hints that the series will not only celebrate the creatures that call Earth home, but also highlight the challenges and crises they face.<\/p>

<\/div><\/figure><h2>Who will be presenting <em>Planet Earth III<\/em>?<\/h2><p>As with\u00a0<em>Planet Earth<\/em>\u00a0(2006) and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwildlife.com\/news\/planet-earth-is-back\"><em>Planet Earth II<\/em>\u00a0<\/a>(2016), the new series will be presented by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwildlife.com\/people\/david-attenborough-facts\"> Sir David Attenborough.<\/a><\/p><p>Mike Gunton\u00a0Executive Producer said, \u2018<em>Planet Earth<\/em> wouldn\u2019t be <em>Planet Earth<\/em> without David, so I\u2019m delighted he is presenting the third series. As ever, he has brought his huge enthusiasm and wisdom, has been encouraging about our new perspective and has, I know, really enjoyed seeing the extraordinary new wonders brought to the screen.<\/p><p>\u2018The opening of the series with David was filmed in the beautiful British countryside in exactly the location where Charles Darwin used to walk whilst thinking-over his Earth-shaking ideas about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwildlife.com\/animal-facts\/evolution-explained\">evolution<\/a>. It seemed the perfect place for David to introduce <em>Planet Earth III<\/em> and remind us of both the wonders and the fragility of our planet. \u2026.and for him, of course, the sun shined under blue skies one of the only days it did all summer!.\u2019<\/p><p>Will <em>Planet Earth III <\/em>rate among <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwildlife.com\/tv\/best-david-attenborough-documentaries\"> David Attenborough’s best-ever documentaries<\/a>?
