Here we take a look at where Springwatch<\/em> 2024<\/strong><\/a> is being filmed<\/p> When is\u00a0Springwatch<\/em>\u00a0on television and how can I watch it? All you need to know<\/strong><\/a><\/p> Springwatch<\/em> 2024 is being filmed in a variety of locations all across the UK, from Southern England to the Highlands of Scotland, although its main locations will be, as in 2023, the spectacular RSPB Arne<\/a> <\/strong>in Dorset.<\/p> RSPB Arne comes alive at this time of year with rare breeding birds, specialised heathland insects and all six of the UK\u2019s native species of reptiles.<\/p> Set against the backdrop of Poole Harbour, RSPB Arne seems to have it all. Famous for its wide-open heathlands where reptiles roam, Springwatch<\/em> will be exploring ancient oak woodlands, farmland and reedbeds. If that wasn\u2019t enough, mudflats, scrub, wet woodland and acid grassland are just some of the habitats where the huge variety of wildlife which call Arne home can be found.<\/p> Three miles south of Arne stand the towering remains of Corfe Castle<\/a>, where mating peregrines<\/a> have claimed a raven<\/a>\u2019s nest atop its 20-metre high walls. We go behind the scenes as the Springwatch team hoist a 50kg camera into position, and set one of the coolest nest cams in the programme\u2019s history.<\/p> Springwatch<\/em> heads to Skomer<\/a>, to discover why this puffin<\/a> breeding ground is thriving, and learn how it could help others across the UK.\u00a0\u00a0They also get in the water with the puffins to learn what sociable birds they are.<\/p> Just off the Llyn peninsula in Wales, the sea bed hides danger at every turn.
