The beaver kits, which were captured on camera at Sculthorpe Moor Nature Reserve in Norfolk, bring England’s population to around 500. <\/p>

Wildlife wardens at\u00a0Sculthorpe Moor Nature Reserve<\/a>\u00a0in Norfolk have captured rare footage of\u00a0beaver\u00a0kits playing in a river and learning how to build a dam. <\/p>

The three youngsters are the latest members to join the Norfolk family, which now stands at seven. <\/p>

\u201cThe arrival of the three kits is a hugely positive sign for the health of the reserve\u2019s ecosystem and a boon for the UK\u2019s beaver population,” says Adrian Blumfield, Operations Director at the\u00a0Hawk and Owl Trust<\/a>, which manages the reserve.<\/p>

England’s total Eurasian beaver<\/a> population is around 500.<\/p>
