Both were hypothesising that a particular species of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwildlife.com\/how-to\/identify-wildlife\/how-to-identify-orchids\">orchid<\/a> would be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwildlife.com\/plant-facts\/pollination-guide\">pollinated<\/a> by a moth with a long proboscis \u2013 which turned out to be the now-named Wallace\u2019s sphinx moth.<\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-wren\">Wren<\/h3><figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"606\" height=\"404\" src=\"https:\/\/c02.purpledshub.com\/uploads\/sites\/62\/2023\/03\/Wren-efb0799.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-75858\"\/><\/figure><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwildlife.com\/animal-facts\/birds\/wren-facts\">Wrens<\/a> are tiny, dumpy brown birds with long legs, a fine bill, short round wings and a short, narrow tail. Wrens feed on tiny invertebrates, including spiders, flies, beetles and\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.discoverwildlife.com\/animal-facts\/birds\/facts-about-blue-tits\/\">ants<\/a><\/strong>, which they grab with that long, pointed bill.
