Oakley has unveiled new Encoder Strike Vented sunglasses, with a similar lens design to the Oakley Kato and offering greater air flow to reduce fogging and better regulate your temperature.

The sunnies form part of Oakley’s 2023 cycling collection. That range also contains three road bike helmets, including the AR03 Allroad that has a removable visor for gravel riding.

Along with road cycling jerseys and bib shorts, Oakley has released the WMNS Factory Pilot RC shorts. The water-repellent mountain bike shorts have a removable chamois.

Oakley says the Encoder Strike Vented takes style inspiration from its classic Razor Blades. A line of vents at the top of the lens are said to accentuate air flow, reducing fogging when things get steamy.

The Encoder Strike lens uses O Matter material for strength and PhysioMorphic geometry, first seen on the Oakley Kato, to achieve its wraparound shape, according to the brand.

The cycling sunglasses are available with Prizm technology, which is claimed to ensure clear vision in various light conditions, in a choice of seven colours.

The Oakley Encoder Strike Vented costs £210 / $255 / €235 / AU$330.
