We scored the solar-charging Garmin Fenix 7 4/5 stars in our review, so the non-solar version looks like a good deal with £100 off.

Garmin says the GPS multi-sport watch records advanced fitness and health metrics, such as heart rate variability, and its battery lasts up to 11 days.

With a 1.2in touchscreen, the Fenix 7S should suit smaller wrists. It supports multi-GNSS satellite systems, which should ensure navigation is accurate.

The Garmin Fenix 7X Solar also has a flashlight to illuminate your path at night. Otherwise, the spec is similar to the Fenix 7S.

With a 1.3in AMOLED display, which is easy to read in different light levels, 24/7 fitness and health metric tracking, and claimed battery life of 16 days, the Garmin Epix Gen 2 has an impressive spec.

You can also perform contactless payments through Garmin Pay, and download and store music.

Amazon has discounted the premium smartwatch by 36 per cent, saving you more than £200.

The Fenix 5 is Garmin’s premium multi-sport GPS watch range and was rated 4.5/5 stars by the BikeRadar testing team.

This watch supports almost every ANT+ accessory under the sun, from the simple to the obscure, including muscle oxygenation sensors. It’s also Bluetooth-friendly, so plays nicely with power, speed and cadence sensors.

The HRM-Dual is Garmin’s mid-range heart-rate monitor and is now reduced by nearly a quarter on Amazon.

The chest-strap heart-rate monitor will record your beats per minute and transfer the data via Bluetooth or ANT+ to smartwatches, bike computers and cycling apps.

If vibes are a must for your rides, the Vivoactive 4S cycling watch provides the option to download songs and playlists direct from Spotify and Deezer, if you have a premium subscription with the music provider.

It’s a smaller-sized and more discreet smartwatch compared to other Garmin models, but still offers 24/7 health tracking, phone connectivity and more than 20 pre-loaded GPS and indoor sports apps.

The watch’s battery lasts up to five hours in GPS mode, but if you’re also planning to wear it when not riding, the battery will last up to seven days when running in basic smartwatch mode.

Amazon Prime Day is an annual sales event hosted by Amazon, offering significant discounts across a wide variety of products exclusively for Amazon Prime members.
