Calibre Triple B

"Best
The Triple B might be entry-level, but it can compete with trail bikes double its price.
Mick Kirkman / Immediate Media
  • Sturdy and composed
  • As good as plenty of bikes double the price
  • £1,499 as tested

The Triple B is the latest version of the Calibre Bossnut and is one of the best entry-level full-suspension trail bikes on the market.

This new version has updated aluminium tubing that gives it a slicker look and refined geometry for better high-speed stability and an improved climbing position. The result is a bike that is stiff and sturdy, daring you to ride hard.

The bike has 130mm of travel at the rear and is paired with a 140mm fork, delivering smooth and supple suspension that is supportive as well.

The Triple B is £400 more than the standard Bossnut, but with this, you get some choice upgrades and a bike that outperforms many £3,000 machines.
