DT Swiss’ first tubeless sealant is available in two pressure-specific formulas designed for either low-pressure or high-pressure tyres.

The low-pressure sealant is designed to work with tyres with large air volumes, such as gravel and mountain bike tyres, while the high-pressure sealant is designed for high-pressure road bike tyres.

DT Swiss claims its Low Pressure sealant can seal holes up to 6mm, with the High Pressure variant able to fix cuts up to 3mm.

The Low Pressure Tubeless Sealant will cost $20.40/€14.90 for a 240ml bottle, while a litre will cost $62.70/€45.90.

The High Pressure Tubeless Sealant is only available in a 60ml bottle, priced at $17.60/€12.90.

It is the first sealant from the brand best known for making wheels.

DT Swiss says its Low Pressure sealant works best at up to 65psi and has a maximum pressure of 80psi.

Its High Pressure sealant is said to be best between 58psi and 108psi, with a maximum pressure of 130psi.

The brand hasn’t said much about the sealants’ formula but it states the Low Pressure sealant doesn’t contain ammonium or latex, which may be good news for those with allergies.

Both smaller-sized bottles feature a pointed nozzle for decanting sealant into valve stems or tight breaks in tyre beads.

The addition of tubeless sealant to the DT Swiss range rounds off the brand’s offering of tubeless accessories, which includes tubeless valves, tape and tubeless-ready rims.
