We take a closer look at Favero’s Assioma Pro MX SPD pedals
In this sponsored video, we look at Favero’s Assioma Pro MX power meter pedals, which use Shimano two-bolt cleats.
This makes the pedals compatible with a host of disciplines – with gravel, cyclocross and mountain biking being targeted by the brand.
Tom Law talks through the tech and shows how to set up the pedals, as well as discussing the benefits of the minimalist design.
Unlike some power meter pedals, strain gauges, batteries and electronics are housed inside the stainless steel spindles, making it hard to distinguish between the Assioma Pro MX and conventional SPD pedals.
Favero claims the pedals have an accuracy of +/- 1 per cent and a run time of 60 hours before the batteries need to be recharged.
