How to watch this year’s Tour de France Femmes in the UK, US and Australia
If you fear you’re going to suffer from post-race withdrawal after the end of the men’s Tour de France, fear not – the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift heads off on the final Sunday of the men’s race for eight days of racing.
The racing starts off in Clermont Ferrand on the edge of the Massif Central and heads down to the Pyrenees to finish with a 22km time trial in Pau. In the interim, it covers 956km and, on the penultimate day, takes in the Col d’Aspin and a summit finish on the Col du Tourmalet.
Last year’s winner, Annemiek van Vleuten, is targeting a Vuelta-Giro-Tour treble in her final year of racing.
She’s already got two in the bag and her dominant performances in the mountains must mean that she’s in pole position to win the Tour de France Femmes, if she is still in peak form after just two weeks of recovery.
There’s free-to-air coverage of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift in many countries, although not in the UK.
