A new collaboration between Cinelli and Inter Milan features limited-edition cycling kit as well as steel road and gravel bikes.
The Italian cycling brand and football club have lent their names to a track-racing inspired clothing collection and four bikes: one road, one gravel and a track bike available in two paintjobs.
Milan-based Cinelli says it has a similar approach to innovation as Inter, the current Serie A champions.
“The project explores new territories of sport, in a shared international vision of the city of Milan,” according to Cinelli.
Inter x Cinelli Nemo Tig gravel bike
Kicking things off, the Inter x Cinelli Nemo Tig Gravel comes in a white colourway with splashes of blue.
The Columbus Tubes Spirit HSS frame, which can fit tyres up to 700 x 40c wide, is paired with a Columbus Futura Gravel carbon fork.
The €5,190 bike is equipped with Campagnolo Ekar, a Cinelli Swamp handlebar and Fulcrum Rapid Red 500 wheels shod with Pirelli Cinturato gravel 700 x 35c tyres.
Inter x Cinelli Nemo Road Disc bike
The €11,900 Inter x Cinelli Nemo Road Disc bike uses the same Columbus steel frame sprayed blue with white logos, matching the team’s kit.
It also has a Columbus Carbon Futura fork. The handlebar, seatpost and stem are all from Cinelli’s Neos Carbon line-up.
A Campagnolo Super Record EPS groupset matches Bora Ultra wheels wrapped in Pirelli P Zero Velo tyres.
Inter x Cinelli clothing range and urban bikes
The Inter x Cinelli clothing range includes a short-sleeve jersey, bib shorts and cap. All are black with light blue swirls and cost €130, €140 and €29 respectively.
Inter x Cinelli grey socks with the brands’ names printed in blue complete the collection and are €25.
A flat-bar track and urban bike called the Inter x Cinelli Vigorelli comes in blue and white colour schemes. Both are €1,900.
The Columbus Airplane alloy triple-butted alloy frameset is paired with a carbon Columbus Futura caliper fork.
The Vigorelli is specced with a Cinelli Wand flat handlebar and the brand’s Vai stem and Squadra saddle.
A Miche Xpress 46t crankset turns a 16t cassette, while Miche Xpress wheels roll on Pirelli P Zero road tyres.
The clothes and bikes are available to buy now online. The collection will be presented at the Velodromo Vigorelli, where Milano-Sanremo rolls out on Saturday, 19 March.
Cinelli says a second racing clothing line will follow on 14 April.
